Who we are

Watch X Change Mayfair is an independent fine watch dealer in Mayfair, London W1. We are the data controller for the personal information described on this page. You can reach us at hello@mayfairxchange.com.

What we collect

The only personal information this website collects is what you type into the appointment request form:

• your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number;
• what you would like to do (buy, sell, part-exchange or source a watch) and any details you add;
• your preferred day and time for a visit.

Alongside the form we record the page it was sent from and the time it was sent, so we can match your request to the site. We do not collect anything from you when you simply browse the site.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your request, arrange and confirm an appointment, share the showroom address with you and prepare for your visit. We do this with your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Who sees it

When you send the form, your details are delivered to us through Zoho, the service we use to receive form submissions and manage enquiries. Zoho processes the data on our behalf and under our instructions. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else, except where the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

If you do not go ahead with an appointment, we delete your request within six months. If you do visit us, we keep the details needed to record any purchase, sale or exchange for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require, which is usually six years.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts and images are served with the site itself, so visiting it makes no requests to third-party services.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, email hello@mayfairxchange.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
